It gets even better when you can form words from whatever the other players have put on the table. Not once, ever, on the old Facebook version, did any opponent even once ever initiate any comment on anything. You probably played Scrabble before and already know how thrilling it is to find that you can create a word with the letters you have at your disposal. On isc.ro I'll usually get a response or, in converse, my opponent is likely to acknowledge a great play that I make. If my opponent scores a cool bingo, I want to give them a high-five or something, which I would formerly do on Facebook, but it was always like I was talking to a bot that was programmed to respond to nothing more than playing its own turn. Scrabble is a free spelling game with several fun twists. Furthermore, Scrabble isn't Scrabble when it's chock-full of dancing, expanding, and shrinking letters, flashy-to-the-max graphics, and so many sounds and unpleasant noises.Įven before its so-very-sorry changes from its original form, which was much more user-friendly and didn't crash the computer, any efforts to interact with the opponent in any social context was, with only one exception EVER, met with complete silence. If you can play it with cards or a board, chances are there's an online version: solitaire, hearts, euchre, spades. Besides, I utterly HATE the Scrabble GO crap that the Facebook version turned was crashing my computer more times than I could count because it's an incredible resource hog. I've built up a lot of personal statistics there over the past few years no reason to abandon that. With isc.ro out there, I don't really see any reason to go anywhere else.
